FAQ’s & Advice

There are many things to consider when planning your wedding stationery and there are some questions that come up quite regularly so we thought we would put some of the most popular ones below so it saves you the hassle of trying to find it out else where.

How far in advance should my invitations be sent out?
We usually recommend around 4 to 6 months before so that people have time to plan travel and accommodation arrangements.  For weddings abroad or if you have a lot of family that are coming from abroad we would recommend as far in advance as is possible.  If you are getting married a long time in advance why not send out Save the Date cards.

What is the minimum quantity I can order?
On our set ranges the minimum is 20 for Day Invitations and 30 for all our other stationery.

What is the turnaround time from ordering to delivery?
This can often depend on many different factors, such as how much stationery you are ordering and if you ordering in peak wedding season (even though we have very large capacities to print) but we would usually suggest leaving 10-14 days from signing of the final wording proofs.  If you really need it quickly then we can turn them around in a matter of days for a small extra fee.  If you think you are cutting it a bit fine on time then call one of the team who will be delighted to help you.

If I have an idea for the design of our wedding invitations can you make them?
Absolutely, give one of the team a ring and we can talk through your ideas and go through all the different options with you.

How many invitations should I order?
1 per family invited + 10% for mistakes or if you are tight on numbers for your venue, you may have a reserve list if certain people can’t make it.  So many times we hear people say they need 200 invitations, but then they realise 200 people will be invited but most of them are couples, this can half their costs almost immediately!

Can you supply maps and other additional information?
Yes we certainly can.  Maps and Guest Information cards can all be supplied, custom made to fit within the card of behind it in the envelope so you don’t have to fold it etc.  We supply many of these cards each day giving information about extra accommodation if the main venue is limited for space, along with how directions of how to get to the venue(s).

I want to be a bit more hands on but don’t want to do all the card folding and printing, can you help?
